A Bit Delayed

This post is a bit delayed in the making...so sorry on that account. But, here it is!! A day late but not a dollar short!! XD oh man, sorry. Been playing too much Rock Band (like, a month ago 0.o)

So, Thursday's school day consisted of sitting in a classroom on the floor, talking until 11:00, then going into the gym to play teachers vs. students volleyball. Team Popken minus Amy plus Carli M fail at volleyball XD after that, we went to lunch where my table (what was left of it) pushed the two tables aside and sat on the floor. It was fun! We then went to recess, where me and Sam left our mark on the playground underside under our usual sitting place, and then we went back to the gym for the last ten minutes of school to just talk. The end of it was slightly emotional, since it was the last time I would hug Emma goodbye at the end of school, and the last day we would be going to school together. But I was okay;)

Today, I went to the mall with Emma and Aleese, and we met Gage there;) It was soo much fun!! We were making fun of the mannequins in Dillards, went in the Hurricane Simulator in the food court, and had a moment in front of the store Hot Topic used to be in (it closed down at the San Tan mall and it was a very sad moment). Emma was acting weird the whole time, and tried to convince me Gage is "Mean, rude, controlling and abusive". I disagree entirely. Oh well! FUN DAY!

Lazer tagging with Emma tomorrow, and then might go see Thor with my family;) Going to go see the midnight premire of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 with my mom if we can!! Hoping to go to a Relient K concert next time they are in town, which if I remember correctly is August 7...hope I can go!!

Saving up my money for a new Zune, or a car, or a flip camera;) those things look cool XD

Well, I had better go. Movie time aanndd I want to figure out when the midnight premier of HP 7 PT 2 is and verify the date of the next Relient K concert.

I want my next car to be a (Relient) K Car!! After the band;) I only want it since Relient K is my favorite band EVER!! Hope I can get one!!!

Promotion Week: Day 3

So, it's official! I am a high schooler! Today was promotion, and it was fun!! And sad. Choir sang a song for Chris Brewer, and everyone was crying. It was a very hard moment. But, all was well! It was so much fun, and felt strange sitting there, being one of our last days as eighth graders, and our last time at Cortina. I don't like the feeling of not coming back to this school, and I have enjoyed my time there immensely. It was there I met all my amazing friends, like Sam, Amaryssa, Elle, McCall, Emma, Aleese, Alyssa, Gage, and so many more. I have had some tough times, and wonderful laughs. Many memories were made there, and this year was my last year with my best friend Emma.

It feels weird to be going into high school. At the beginning of the year, I never thought high school would come, and now that's here, I can't believe its happening. It will be different, because me and my friends are so close here at our small school, and going into high school will be a totally different experience. We will make new friends, have new struggles, and make all new memories.

Honestly, I'm quite scared of going to high school. I don't want to leave my close knit school where all my friends are right by my side every day. Next year I won't be in Algebra, sitting right next to Emma. I'm going to have to make all new friends, while still interacting with all my old ones from middle school.

What am I saying? High school is going to be awesome!!

Well, Emma should be here at my house any moment. So, I am going to go now. I hope you all have a great summer!

Promotion Week: Day 2

Today was Amazing Jakes!! I had TONS of fun!! Everything was amazing!! From screaming my head off with Emma Haney playing Jurassic Park and Star Trek, to laughing and failing and hurting and stomping on Dance Dance Revolution, to eating our fill in breadsticks, to taking tons of pictures while waiting in line for Lazer Tag, to making fun of a total jerk in front of the line of us to the GoKarts, to riding home on the bus laughing about all of that, it was all worth it!

Tomorrow is promotion!! I am super excited to wear my gorgeous dress, and get all spiffed up!! If you can, you should come!! It's going to be awesome;)

I decided on curling my hair for promotion, and using two different types of curls. Going to be fancier than ever before!! This will probably be the ONLY time I put this much effort in something for a while...LOL!! I don't usually curl my hair... XD it takes too long!!

I love my Shane Dawson shirt!! I wore it to school today, and got a bunch of crap about it, but I really don't care. I love his videos and his humor and his personality and I LOVE THIS SHIRT!! He is crazy like me, and I do not regret this purchase!!

Some schools suck, and suspend people for dumb reasons. Pull them out of promotion and be stupid. Those schools are crappy and just need to stop being butts.

Tomorrow Emma is coming over after school!! We are gonna party all afternoon long!! YAY!!!!

I am listening to And Then There Were None, and loving it;);) They make me happy!!

My 15th birthday is in 15 days!! The only reason I know this is because Nicole pointed it out for me. I don't count down the days anymore lol!! SUMMER CAMP IN 17 DAYS!! (Now THAT'S something to count down to!!) Driving to San Diego on a bus with NO ELECTRONICS ALLOWED!! Fun! (not really) No texting until I get back. Kinda mad about that. Because I just KNOW Gage is going to send me hundreds of texts just to make me mad when I come back. XP

It makes me mad when people decide to go through my phone and comment on my pictures saying 'why do you have so many emo pictures of you on here?' you really don't know what goes on in my life to make me do my hair that way, and I don't know why I even take pictures like it. Sooo just back off mmmhkay? I am who I am, and sometimes I get angry, then sad, then all emotion ceases to exist. That place, is where those pictures come from.

Needed to vent. Sorry about my mad rage of emotions.

Well, I had better go take a shower. My And Then There Were None album is on it's last song.

Promotion Week: Day 1

Promotion Practice. A.K.A: Sit on a stage, way too close to people, and run through standing up, walking, shaking hands, and not sitting down until they tell you to, and not talking for two hours.

Then, we went outside and spent most of the time signing yearbooks, then waiting to get our crappy disgusting lunches, and eating the, OUTSIDE. It was super hot!! Especially when people (*AHEM* Emma!!) decided to wear JEANS!! After lunch, we went in the gym for a mini-dance with only the eighth graders.

Gym lights off, stage lights on, music on a volume that won't disturb anyone else, dancing madly, scooting away from the grind lines and grind groups, standing awkwardly during the one slow dance, belting out Justin Bieber lyrics, sweating and hurting like crazy but not stopping during the human slide, showing off my cartwheels and back bends and schooling Dennis at them, aanndd laughing till my sides hurt.

Yep, that was my day;) left my yearbook in Aleese's bag, so she has it!! Oh well;) She is my bestiee fo life, so idc!! I can't wait until tomorrow!! Amazing Jakes, here we come!

Got my Shane Dawson and Best Day Ever shirt in the mail today!! They are amazing!! Can't wait to wear the Shane one tomorrow, and the Best Day Ever either Thursday or Friday!! SOOOOO excited!

Gotta get Aleese to go to the mall with me on Friday...Emma doesn't know if she can go...

Promotion Wednesday!! Going home afterwards, and hopefully taking Emma with me!! Swimming, and partying!! Eating dinner with Gage's family Wednesday. Busy week, but sooo much fun!!!

Well, I had better go. I have to start getting ready for bed, and I still haven't taken a shower!! Oops. Bye!!

Some Questions For You

I was wondering if you guys liked the video that me and Emma did of Newton's 3 Laws of Motion, and if we should do more like it, except not as educational. Like, How To's of life. Like how to drive a car, be emo, be nerdy, paint your toes, do your make up, do your hair...take a dump I don't know!! Just fun stuff like that. Spoofs of songs, music videos to songs totally making fun of them. Who knows. Whatever. Idk, just something to do this summer.

Also, what drives you INSANE?? Just wondering. Just a little question. For me, its when people interrupt me, especially when it's OBVIOUS I was talking, when I have been talking for a long time.
Another thing, when I tell people not to tell me how to do something, or not to say anything about what we are watching, or to keep it a secret from be because I love surprises, and then they go and TELL me. That really makes me mad!! (can't say the other word on here. This is public! Not my personal journal.)

So what drives you insane, and should me and Emma and maybe me and Aleese start making videos? We all have crazy props at our house, and I have a crazy hideous jacket I am DYING to wear in a video and show off its terrible-ness. Flaws

So I just watched Shane Dawson's video about flaws, and it inspired me to write a blog post about flaws. Most importantly: MY flaws.
I really didn't want to do a video blog right away about my flaws, so I thought this was the next best thing.
So here we go!! My flaws!! (Hope you enjoy this, you monsters ;) jk!!)
Number One: My acne. This really bugs me. I have acne issues, although they aren't so bad, I am very self conscious about it. They are red, and like to stay there for a while. I have NOT found an acne system that works to take them away yet. (Anyone know any good ones??)
Number Two: My stomach. I hate it, because there is this thin layer of 'flab' on it. No one notices it but me, but that does nothing to stop my paranoia about it. When I flex my ab muscles, and poke down on my stomach, my finger sinks in a bit. That makes me self conscious. Also the fact that my lower stomach sticks out more than I would like from my hip bones. And that brings us to..
Number Three: My hips, or lack thereof. I seriously have no hips, despite what my parents and friends say. There are really no noticeable curves. Its practically a straight line. This is embarrassing for me, even though it really shouldn't be.
Number Four: My knees. What? Your KNEES?? Yes, I am very self conscious about my knees. Reasons? They do NOT look alike, as my best friend Gage so kindly pointed out one day. They are different!! When I put one foot on the other knee, the space between my kneecap and shin sinks down and forms a lazy U. Like an indentation on my knee!! Also, when I am standing still, they look freaky and man-like. When I have them bent, they just look weird. like, they stick out and aren't the same shape. They are unique, but, they look gross.
Number Five: My hair. I have dry hair, which results in lots of split ends. I love my long hair, but it just loves to break off and split. Its annoying, but I can't do much about it, and oh well.
Number Six: My voice. It sounds great the way I hear it, but when I hear recordings of it, it sounds retarded and high pitched. And to go along with that is
Number Seven: My singing voice. I can sing on key, but not in a voice people want to hear. It sounds like a raccoon dying in a garbage disposal that is on the surface of the sun. While the sun is exploding. I never sing around people, only by myself do I belt out lyrics to my favorite songs, and I do not sing without music around anyone but my family. And my closest friends, like Aleese and Emma. Cuz they won't judge me!!
Number Eight: My teeth. I inherited naturally yellow teeth from my father, and hate them so much. Once my braces are off, I am immediately going to get them whitened!! (Next February I will have metal-less, white teeth!!)
Surprisingly, something that does NOT make the list is my braces. I find them wonderful, and am not self-conscious about them. I do not hate having them on, nor do I hate adjustments. I actually look forward to my adjustments. But back to the list.
Number Nine: My laugh. I personally dislike it. I find it obnoxious, loud, and really stupid sounding. Plus, I can do these really weird laughs that only Elle, Sam, Amaryssa, Aleese, McCall, Alyssa, and especially Emma have heard. Emma has even heard my hill billy laugh, and my 'Kolton' impersonation.
Number Ten: The skin around my fingers. I bite that skin so much!! When I am bored in band, in class, just bored in general, nervous, excited, happy, sad, angry...WHENEVER. It's really gross, and embarrasses me when I go for manicures, because they always make faces and tell me I need to stop. I have been doing it for fourteen years, stopping is NOT easy people!!
Number Eleven: I talk WAY too much and use WAY too many words!! I swear, I cannot stop for the life of me!! I lost my voice for a week, and STILL talked every time it got better!! I was talking and it was no more than a low whisper, and I REALLY should have stopped, because no one could understand me. I went to Emma's house, and Emma's mom was surprised at how bad it was!! Talk in your lowest whisper you can muster, now strain your voice beyond belief, add a terrible sore throat, and imagine that coming out when you tried to talk normally, in a low pitched voice. YEAH, that's how I was talking for a day or two. Then it totally went away to where no noise came out no matter what.
Number Twelve: I laugh way too much!! This goes along with my actual laugh. I laugh way too often, and it is mostly my obnoxious laugh. I listen to other peoples laughs, and if I like their laugh I usually try to mimic it, but I usually just sound like a retarded seal. I wish I could hear my REAL NATURAL laugh on tape, but whenever I laugh into a recorder, its always a fake laugh that sounds more stupid than the real one.

So, those are my flaws!! Well, the ones I could think of off of the top of my head. Who knows, more may come to me!! But for now, this is farewell. Barro's And Promotion Week

So today for being in buddies we walked to Barro's pizza. I had some pretty crazy laughs, including when I totally belched when the principle was a few feet away!! Everyone at our table was appalled, and my friend Steven thought a boy had burped and not me!!! LOL!!!
Next week is promotion week, so we are literally doing NOTHING all week!! We get promotion practice, then food from the OK Corral, Tuesday we go to Amazing Jakes, Wednesday is promotion and pizza and we are watching Tangled, and Thursday and Friday I really DON'T KNOW what is going on, but we won't be doing ANY work or be doing ANYTHING productive in any way;D it's a gonna be awesome!!

Well, I bought 2 shirts from hot topic and am super excited to wear them!!

Okay, I had better get going now. I have to get ready and GO TO BED. It's late...ish LOL!
