My summer has been boring, fun, and crazy all at once. Right now its pretty boring. In less than a month school is going to start and I will officially be a seventh grader. I am so excited for school to begin! I miss all my friends so much, and can't wait to see most of them!! (two will not be there. Josh and AJ. Miss you guys so much!!! Aleese misses you too!!!)
This week has been pretty boring so I won't say anything about it.

Jordan and Rachyls Visit
We picked up Jordan and Rachyl at the Sky Harbor Airport on Sunday. Straight from there, we went to Famous Daves, and then, six o clock evening church. We then went home and just hung out until bedtime. We got home around 8:30 PM.
Monday was Justus birthday!!! He turned 8. We went and saw Transformers: Revenge of the fallen. My mom had for the first time EVER in a LONG time had all her kids together under one roof (our house). Jordan, Jared, Me, and Justus. When we got home, we had Barro's Pizza, and watched TV.
Tuesday we went to the pool, and then we went shopping at the mall. We went to Charlotte Russe, American Eagle, Aeropostal, Anchor Blue, Wet Seal, Forever 21, Icing, and Zumies. I got stuff at Aeropostal, Forever 21, Wet Seal, and Icing. After shopping we went to Red Robin to have supper, and then we went to Toys R Us and I got a Jonas Brothers Poster that I just ADORE!!!!! and the Twilight board game, and Justus got a G.I. Joe Vehicle. We then went home and me and Rachyl did our nails while Justus and Jordan played with G.I. Joes.
Wednesday we went to Castles and Coasters and rode every ride except for the bumper cars and all the little toddler rides. Justus found out that he loves the Sky Diver!!! After Castles and Coasters we had Supper at Old Chicago and then relaxed at home.
Thursday we went to the lake in Power Ranch to fish. We didn't catch anything. It was mid morning and the fish weren't hungry. But we had fun and that's all that matters.
After that we went to the pool to cool off. We went to Hard Rock Cafe in central Phoenix and ate. It was good except the chicken tenders had some nasty breading on them... yuck!!! We went hiking in the Superstition mountains to catch the sunset. A cloud was blocking the sun so we didn't get many good pictures of the sunset but many of the amazing view. It rained us out on our way back. But it was great fun!
Friday........................... I don't really remember!!!!! AHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I will update this when I find my diary and look to see what I wrote for what we did on Friday.
Saturday we went to Uncle Mike and Aunt Natalies, and we met one of my moms old boyfriends. He was married and had had two boys. Alex- 17 and Matt- 12. They were fun to hang around. Me Jordan Rachyl Matt and Alex all played pool, and then we got IN the pool to cool off. We were all doing tricks and stuff and just swimming until our arms and legs ached. Me and Rachyl could both tell that Alex liked her. He was pretty cute!!! Lolz! :p After that, the Popkens (and Rahn) left to go see the fireworks at Tumbleweed park. We had a lot of fun!
Sunday- We dropped Jordan and Rachyl off at the airport and then went to Matt and Alex's resort to hang out and then go swimming in the resort pool. The pool had a huge hot tub AND a gigantic waterfall! I had a lot of fun!!! After that, we went home and just hung out. I miss Jordan and Rachyl so much!! But they are coming back sometime in December or January so we will get to see them then! Yay! Thanks for reading guys! I really appreciate it!!

Colorado Vacation
I haven't blogged in so long and so much has happened! So I am going to do my Colorado Vacation first as one blog post, and then Jordan and Rachyls visit as another, and then one more just to sum up my summer in whole.
We left for Colorado Friday June 19, 2009 around 6:30 AM. We arrived in Colorado Springs, Colorado around 9:00 PM. We checked into our hotel, went into our room, unpacked, said goodnight to our Aunt Lisa, Uncle Jeff, and our two cousins Alexis and Laikyn who we were staying in adjoining rooms with, and went to bed. When we woke up we went to Manitou Cliff Dwellings. They were really cool! It was so interesting to see what people lived like in ancient times. When we got back to the hotel, we went swimming in the small hotel pool. It was REALLY warm! Almost as warm as the hot tub! But we had lots of fun.
The next day was fathers day, and we went to Garden of the Gods and Seven Falls. At Garden of the Gods we hiked around and climbed a small mountain that had an amazing view. I found this little nook in the mountain and sat in it. I got some good pictures from there! My dad decided to be dangerous and went past a sign that said NO PEOPLE BEYOND THE POINT. FATALITIES AND INJURIES HAVE OCCURED. So, of course, he went to see how they had died. The ground was completely flat, but it had a drop off/cliff thing. People had probably leaned over the edge too far and had fallen in. My mom yelled at him after that.
At Seven Falls everyone but my mom and Zoe and Zorak (our puppies) climbed the 224 stairs to the top. It was a lot of fun! Going up and down the stairs was the best part! The waterfall was pretty cool too, but not at all worth all the money they made us pay. There was an Indian type show going on when we got to the bottom. When the show was done, my mom, my dad, Justus, me, and the doggies went up again. My mom wanted to get over her fear of a bridge over water, so she climbed with us. It was still fun going up the 224 steps for a second time. After, we went and got some ice cream, went into the gift shop, and then Jeff, Lisa, Lexi, and Laikyn had to leave. So me, my mom and my dad went up a different set of steps to a different lookout over to the falls. I also got good pictures there. (my brother went back to the hotel with Jeff and Lisa)The steps we went up had like 185. I don't really remember. My legs were hurting the next day!! After we were done there, we went down the elevator- against my wishes- and went back to the hotel. We opened our birthday gifts.
On Monday we went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. They have the most Giraffes than any zoo in either America or the World. I don't remember which one. It was really cool there!!! After the zoo we went to Chilis for a late lunch/early supper, and then we went back to the hotel and went swimming one last time. The pool was normal pool temperature the second time. After we went swimming we packed our bags for the next days journey home.
On Tuesday around 8:00 AM we left for home. We stopped in New Mexico at Wendys (where Josh called me) and then after that because of the excessively long line, we left the town and waited until a nicer (if there is even such thing as a nice town in New Mexico!) town with a Wendys showed up and we ate there. We got home around 8:00-8:30 PM. I fell asleep on the couch I believe. On Saturday Aleese was coming over for a late over and then Sunday, Jordan and Rachyl came to stay for a full 7 days. My Summer (6 days!!!)
It is June 2 of 2009, and 6 days until I turn 13. I'm so excited!! I cannot WAIT until my birthday party on the 13th. I invited all of my girlfriends, and we are going to have lots of fun. I might even bring my CD player so we can listen to music (though my parents wouldn't like most of it :P).
We went shopping today, and I got a shirt, shorts, and the book Where The Red Fern Grows. I got my brother a bunch of books at Savers, and these shorts that are like the shorts that Bryce Jenkins always wears to school. My brother looks so pimp!!! Well, he took them off, but he looked so pimp!!! Lol!
I have enough money to buy a EnV2, but there are other phones that I want, so I am going to go to the Verizon Store to mess around on the phones I want, and then go home and think about the Pros and Cons with each one, and then pick my favorite one to be my new phone!! Well, I've got to go. Busy day, and now, I just want to rest. Write more when my life is kinda interesting again!!! Oh, and thank you to those who read my posts. I don't know if anyone does anymore!!
I DO have one more thing to say. I have been sick for the past five days, and I'm now getting better. I had a high fever, sore throat, stuffy nose, headache, my muscles had been aching, and I was always tired. But the sore throat went away today. Everything else kind of faded yesterday. Except the stuffy nose. I still have that. But I am feeling a little better. Shopping helped:)
Well that's all really. BIRTHDAY ON JUNE 8 PPLZ!!! Lol! I just LOVE how it is so close!!! Well, I REALLY have to go! My dads laptop is burning my leg skin!!! lol!! Bye!

My Week
My week has been pre-tty cool.
Wednesday- Powerhouse, 1/2 day, Volleyball game, last day of school- Lots of people cried, and there are many friends that I am never going to see ever again. I was one to cry, and so was Narissa and Aleese and Emma.
Thursday- Relaxing day. Watch The Day The Earth Stood Still (not a very good movie).
Friday- Bible Study
Saturday- Relax, lunch at Old Chicago (AWESOME!!!) and Sleepover at Kierstynns btw, I've got to go pack so yeah this will end soon.
My 13th birthday party is June 13. Saturday. The Monday b4 the 13th is my birthday, June 8. We leave for vacation with my Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jeff on the 18th to the 23rd and Jordan and Rachyl come to visit on the 28th. So my summer is going to be pretty awesome too. Well, gotta get ready. Frog Dissection
Today we wrapped up our frog dissection. The body cavity of Lykitee (our frog. Taylor named it:P) was completely empty! We took out the Liver, the Heart, the Lungs, the Kidneys, the Stomach, the Large Intestine, the Small Intestine, the Gallbladder, the Spleen, the Fat Bodies, the Eggs, the Abdominal and Leg muscles. It was a really great experience for me. One of my dream jobs is a Coroner. I could help solve crimes, and get to learn more about the body, AND use big long words! Lol!!! We had to touch everything too!
The egg tracts were really getting in the way, so I took them out. It took a while, but I got them, and all the eggs out. It was really fun!
Also, I made a picture video thing. It's really awesome!!! We are going to adopt kids next year. My parents have to take the course, and fill out lots of papers, and do a bunch of stuff. I even have to fill out a form I think! Well, I've got to go write the skit for me and Aleese's Language Arts project. BYE!!!

Randommanianess
Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I've been pretty busy. Ms. Gardner has been giving us homework every night-which I have forgotten to do every night- and I had to study for my science dissection. I passed the test, and we have already cut the frog open and have taken out the liver, and the stomach and a few eggs. There are SO MANY EGGS in our frog! It'll take a whole period or more just to get the eggs all out. Some people in other classes gagged and almost threw up! I think that I would make a good nurse because seeing all of the organs in the frogs body didn't make me feel sick. Even opening up the stomach had no effect on me! Lolz. I want to show you this emoticon that I love so much!!!
