8th Grade has been okay so far, although I've had homework everyday this week!! My teachers are pretty nice, but all are very strict in their own way. Some more strict in certain areas than others. But overall they're okay.
The first week isn't even over yet and already I have two projects!! They are a collage of current events from over the summer for Social Studies that is due tomorrow, and a collage all about me for English that is due Monday. I'm not too excited to do the Social Studies one in class today, but I AM excited to do the all about me collage!!

Today's Happenings...
Today my mom scheduled an orthodontist appointment for me for the first time in my life. So I went there, and they were going to set up an appointment for me to get my braces put on, when the lady setting the appointment up said they had time this afternoon. Like, right that second. So I got my braces on already! I don't like them. The stupid wires are yanking my teeth, and my teeth hurt right now, and they will only hurt more within the next two days, so I can't really complain too much. I can only eat liquids and very soft and squishy foods for the next few days. How many, I'm not exactly sure. Two more I know for sure, and then after that I guess I'll just go with what my teeth are feeling. Right now they hurt really bad when I bite down, so I can't eat anything solid tonight or tomorrow.
I hope to hang out with Emma tomorrow, but there's really nothing to tell right now!!
I got Emma the best Christmas gifts, and Aleese the best Birthday gift ever!! Now I just have to wait for them to get here. I'm hoping that they will arrive before Friday next week, otherwise I'll have to save Aleese's gift for AFTER her birthday passes!! I will tell her though that it is in the mail if it doesn't arrive by the Friday, so she doesn't think that I didn't get her anything, when it's exactly the opposite of that--I got her the BEST THING that ANYONE is going to give her this year!! And Emma's Christmas gift will be the BEST ONE that ANYONE is going to give her this year!! LOLOLOL!!! I can't wait to see them open them!!

Summer 2010
The summer is almost over, and that means it's time for me to write and tell you what I have been doing lately.
I haven't really hung out with anyone all summer, just Emma and Aleese, although I'm seeing a movie with Jessica on Friday for her birthday.
I went to San Diego for a weekend getaway last weekend. We went to the ocean while we were there, and that was it. It was an oceanic trip! We went there directly after checking into the hotel on Saturday, and then after we woke up on Sunday. After that, we left for home(: Saturday I found a bunch of cute little shells, a sand-dollar in knee deep water, and on Sunday morning I found lots of sand-dollars that were small and big, a big, jelly fish that was reddish pink and glittery, a little tiny crab, a bunch of medium sized shells, 2 big shells, and a bunch more small shells. This was all found by me, my mom and dad, Justus, and Levi. I had soo much fun at the ocean, and I loved standing in the cold water(: I cannot wait to go back!!
I am going school supply shopping this weekend I believe, and I think I am going to finish my school clothes shopping, because I really only have 1 new shirt that I like, and 3 others that I don't really like. I can't wait to wear my new favorite shirt with my new favorite jeans on the first day of school!! I am soo excited to see all my friends all day everyday again!!
I am going to a John Mayer and Owl City concert on August 18 with some of my friends. It will be my very first (and hopefully not the last) concert without my parents!! I am so excited for it!!
I am officially obsessed with internet shopping, although I won't buy anything unless I need it (and I mean truly need it. Like for a holiday or birthday or for something that I really, truly need for myself). I just look, but I just bought Emma's Christmas gift. I am soo excited for it to come in now 5-16 business days!! I'm counting down until it arrives!! I already know what I'm getting Aleese for her birthday, but I just have to get it...can't say anymore than that in case she reads this blog before she opens it! I know they will both LOVE their gifts, the only problem is that they will go together to some extent, but Aleese's birthday is in August, and Christmas is in December...long time apart for stuff that goes together in a way!! I will tell you all what it is (if it happens) when she gets it! (I'm still not sure if my plan will pan out...still have to buy the stuff!!) SOO...That's pretty much it!! SUMMER TIME(:
It's officially summer and I am officially 14!! It doesn't feel much different that 13, but I know that will change soon! I have been swimming a bunch, and had the most fun with Emma at the Mesquite pool on the Lazy River!! BEST TIMES EVER!! Cannot wait for Emma and Sam and McCall and Aleese and....everyone to get back from girls camp so we can all hang out again! It was so much fun on the last day of school! We should have another swimming party soon!! Let the planning begin(:
I'm kind of scared for the PRIDE program to be implimented in my school next year. But I know I probably will never get pride because I am very good at getting my work done and bringing supplies to school. I will DEFINITLEY buy HUNDREDS of mechanical pencils! Well, maybe not hundreds, but a bunch! Plus extra lead for me, and classmates in case they run out after a class and need some more. I will buy LOTS of extra lead, and bring regular wooden pencils, just in case someone needs to "borrow" a pencil. (You all know "borrow" doesn't nessesarily mean BORROW. It means, hey, I'm going to SAY I'm going to borrow your pencil, but really mean I am going to use it, "forget" its not mine, and then keep it for myself). Paper is definiley the one supply I just am always running out of. I am too kind and give it away too easily. I think I am just going to get a big binder next year for all my stuff, instead of loose folders to put in my backpack. One big binder for all my notebooks, folders, agendas, band stuff, and important papers. This way, my backpack will be neater. It's already neat, but folders just make my bag heavier and bulkier. I am sick of carrying around a 15 pound backpack! 5 pounds seems more ideal to me.
I have been going to Bookmans a bunch, and getting used books that look brand new for super cheap. Yesterday, I got I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER which got made into a movie, so once I read it I can watch the movie, CRANK which I have already read and own it's sequel GLASS so I know what happens in it, but I am guessing there's more stuff in it than GLASS mentioned, so I'm excited to read that. I also got my 2nd forensic mystery book by Elane Ferguson-- CIRCLE OF BLOOD. I have THE ANGEL OF DEATH, and I read it and thoroughly enjoyed it, and now all I need to complete my Elane Ferguson Forensic Mystery book collection is THE CHRISTOPHER KILLER. I love reading and am currently reading a decent sized book (558 pages)called GONE by Michael Grant. It is really good, and is going to be a 6 book series. The books go GONE, HUNGER, LIES, PLAGUE, DARKNESS, LIGHT. I am really excited for the last 3 books to come out! The titles might change though, because they probably haven't even been written yet!!
Well, I'm just sitting here at my moms laptop in the living room staring at the words appearing across the screen as my fingers fly across the keys pressing letters, deleting errors as they appear on the screen. I am listening to the click they make as my fingers hit them, and I feel very calm. But then my cat jumps up on the couch behind me, and meows in my ear and ruins my calm. He is now reading over my shoulder as he enjoys doing very much. Sometimes I feel he is the only one who reads this blog, but I know SOMEONE else has to read it out there. I just don't know who, or if they even do. For all I know I'm talking to air and through the story of my life out in the open for space and time to hear. Space and time, the only people who I know for sure read this, hear this blog.
Facebook is my life. My BFF's have facebooks, and I recently used http://pagerage.com to change my facebook background/layout/template to a zebra print. It's sexy(:(: BAHAHA!! I loooovveeee mmmmyyy llliiifffeee right now!!! Text mehh if you have my number. If you don't, too bad. Ask me for it or get it from one of my friends. I'm bored and still watching letters fly across the screen in this NEW BLOG POST box. I wonder if my words feel trapped until I post them and get them out to the world for anyone to see. Can words feel emotion? I feel emotion when I read words. Words are filled with emotion, but can they feel what they are saying, showing? It is an interesting thought.

SCHOOLS OUT!!!!!
Well Seventh Grade is sadly over, and the summer is finally here. The sun,the pool, the get-togethers, it's all been fun! Had soo much fun at Sam and Elle's house's last Thursday after school(:(: Haven't really texted anyone...weird...but why should I? Everyone's phone seems to be breaking!! And the people I want to text I have embarrassed myself WHILE texting them, so I don't think I should text them...but I will if they text me first!! My dad's ear surgery is today, and I'm quite nervous for him right now. I hope all goes well for him!!
I am absolutely OBSESSED with Paramore!! I have been listening to them non-stop all their songs, all their albums all morning long! At least I'm not obsessed with some suckish pop band. I am definitely a rock girl. I love hard rock, metal, heavy metal...screamo! Anything with heavy guitar.
My birthday is on Tuesday!! I will be 14 finally!! I am so excited!! I'm getting closer to getting my Learners Permit!! Then I can drive with a legal, licensed adult in the passenger seat!!
I love my best friends Emma and Aleese(:(: Seeing Emma fo sho on Saturday(:(: She's coming with me to the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center(:(: My whole family is going(:(: Aleese might come I hope she does!! It won't be the same without her!!
I have finished so many books already this summer! 1 Christopher Pike-THE ETERNAL ENEMY, Meg Cabot-BEING NIKKI the sequel to AIRHEAD, and ANGUS, THONGS, AND FULL FRONTAL SNOGGING. All were really good! Now I'm reading a series. The Firstborn series by Karen Kingsbury. I'm only on #1-FAME. It's really good though! Just started it yesterday and I'm on page 87. Its 337 pages long so I have a ways to go. Well I'd better go, have to tend to my adoptive brother(:(: My adoptive baby sister is at the babysitters next door(:(: I love my life right now(:(:

Our Basketball Game
Today we won our Basketball game!!! We are now 4-0!!! There was this scary girl who was monstrous but I blocked her and even though she elbowed my BOOB and grabbed my ARM really HARD I made the shot that tied up the game, and stole a bunch of balls from the other team!!! Sooo happy we won! One more game on Monday, and if we win we go to the ChAmPiOnShIpS!!! If not, we go to the playoffs. Can't wait until our next game!!! Haven't done my homework yet, so I had better get to it....Wish us luck!!!

Parks, Cars, and Kitchen Sets.
A few days ago, my best friend Emma Haney came over to hang out. We planned on going to the mall and trying on cute and crazy dresses and outfits, but instead we went to Goodwill and did the same. We also found some crazy stuff we just HAD to make fun of! We even went and found the biggest pair of granny panties EVER!!! Haha! We started making fun of them,then we found a lacy bra and were laughing our heads off, then I found some lingerie, and then we were laughing so hard, you couldn't hear us laughing, and our stomachs hurt. On our way out, Emma found a men's flannel shirt, gave me a horrified look, and we started laughing all over again!
But that wasn't all that we found at Goodwill. We also found an awesome KITCHEN SET for Cassidy!! We had been looking and looking for one, and then, WE FOUND IT! She loves it and yesterday when we went to Ross, we bought food stuff for it, and she loves to fake eat those!! (Well, she chews on them and gives them to me for me to chew on.)
We also went to Tumbleweed Park yesterday, and I played with Cassidy the whole time. We went down the slides, ran around on the equipment, played with these metal bars that chimed when you hit them, and these weird things that made noise when you moved them. She LOVED the slides, and I bruised my elbow badly on one of them, but she was so happy every time she went down, she would smile really big, and laugh her head off! But there were stupid teenagers on their Ripsticks (one guy was actually pretty cute) that were going down the slides on their Ripsticks, and going down the ramps on them. They were sitting, not standing. They almost ran down Cassidy, and I said "watch your going jerk" to the cute guy, but I don't think he heard me. I hope he did! He almost ran down my little sister! We stayed at the park playing with bubbles and sliding for more than an hour before we actually left. We had a LOT of fun!
Levi gets carsick, and he's thrown up in the car once on himself, and once in the barf bag thingy. I wasn't there when he threw up on himself (thank God).
I cannot WAIT to see what today brings, and can't wait to see how awesome this bruise on my elbow gets!!!
